Having studied in the departments of English Language Teaching & French Language and Literature at leading universities in Turkey, I have been working now for 9 years as a certified English & French translator in almost every field of translation.

I graduated from Translation and Interpreting Studies Department in the year of 2012. As an undergraduate student at Boğaziçi University, I have improved my English speaking skills through the courses. Moreover, I cannot deny the great contribution of my visiting the USA and working there for three months. During my education I worked at different places, such as publishing houses, translation offices so as to gain experiences. Apart from translating legal and business documents for various local and international translation companies as a freelance translator, I have also edited a number of books, stories, poems and other creative texts. I am Turkish and Azerbaijani citizen, and speaking both languages as mother tongue. I have studied an English medium university and hence, I speak English fluently. Besides, I worked in Russia and learnt Russian language also.

I have been doing translations since 2006. I'm also running a translation agency, however that's a separate business, and you can be sure that all translations at smartcat are done by me personally. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk).
