I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.

I strongly believe that to translate accurately, one needs to master not only the languages and translation techniques but also the subject in both the source and target languages. Career summary: +10 years of experience in HR and Consulting, in France, Germany, & Luxembourg, for various industries, then career change to professional translation in 2016. 4-months internship in a translation agency + 1-month internship by the European Commission.
