Greetings! Welcome to my profile! I am a professional certified translator and interpreter, a natural bilingual and a passionate linguist for whom translation is an inevitable part of daily life. Learning new things has always been an exciting experience, so I got interested in law and human rights, medicine, technologies, and art. For when I go deep into any of the above-mentioned subject, I am mesmerized by the beauty of human thought, this unbelievable power to discover cures for lethal diseases and change the history, fight for justice and equality, make the difference and make this world a better place for us all. Unfortunately, life is too short and there are so many interesting things over there. But I found my way to be involved and help to create something valuable – I became a translator and interpreter. Hi! I graduated from the Kyiv National Linguistic University with a specialization in Chinese and English Translation (a Master's degree). My native languages are Russian and Ukrainian. Foreign languages are my passion. I also know German on the B1 level. I have experience in translating medical, banking, legal, popular science subject, and journalistic articles but want to develop and improve my skills! There is no limit to perfection.

I am a freelance translator (looking for single projects or temporary/permanent contracts) specializing mostly in medical devices, health care, computer/tabletop games, IT, telecom, QA and risk analysis. I'm a versatile person so there are lots of other things I'm interested in. I work in Trados, SmartCat, Phrase, MemoQ, Wordfast, Xtm cloud, OmegaT, Passolo, Xbench, Aegisub and Subtitle Edit, and I can master any other tool as well. In addition to translation, I can create and manage termbases and translation memories, localize software, perform localisation testing, create and translate subtitles, teach people how to use CAT, and help to solve technical issues of CAT. I had about 10 years of experience as a tech support specialist and a tester/QA, so I'm good at many of IT topics. I had an experience of writing and translating manuals and other texts, and testing software localization. I have a high level of literacy and a good sense of style in Russian.

I have been a professional translator for over ten years of my life, and am very familiar with different wordings and vocabulary. I am a bilingual Ukrainian-Russian speaker with a long translator/teaching career.
