Welcome to my page. I am a freelance translator based in Kyiv, Ukraine. My mother tongues are both Ukrainian and Russian. I translate from English, French and Polish. Hi! I graduated from the Kyiv National Linguistic University with a specialization in Chinese and English Translation (a Master's degree). My native languages are Russian and Ukrainian. Foreign languages are my passion. I also know German on the B1 level. I am a freelance translator (looking for single projects or temporary/permanent contracts) specializing mostly in medical devices, health care, computer/tabletop games, IT, telecom, QA and risk analysis. I'm a versatile person so there are lots of other things I'm interested in. I work in Trados, SmartCat, Phrase, MemoQ, Wordfast, Xtm cloud, OmegaT, Passolo, Xbench, Aegisub and Subtitle Edit, and I can master any other tool as well. In addition to translation, I can create and manage termbases and translation memories, localize software, perform localisation testing, create and translate subtitles, teach people how to use CAT, and help to solve technical issues of CAT. I had about 10 years of experience as a tech support specialist and a tester/QA, so I'm good at many of IT topics. I had an experience of writing and translating manuals and other texts, and testing software localization. I have a high level of literacy and a good sense of style in Russian.
