I have graduated from the Translation and Interpreting Studies Department of Yeditepe University. The experience I have accumulated as a student of one of the most prestigious universities in the country has been valuable for improving my speed, learning work ethics, and getting accustomed to diverse fields. I have been working for over two years as a professional freelancer now and this has improved my flexibility and my ability to adapt to different demands of various clients. As a passionate linguist, I made my debut in the translation and localization world in 2014, when I was only a freshman in the university. I started as an intern and ended up to be freelance translator at SDL Turkey for 2 years. During this period of time, I gained immense amount of experience and I learned how to use multiple translation tools. Following that, I worked for a transcription company and made transcriptions of voice records both in English and Turkish. Finally, I started working with Localex in 2017 and that was one of the best decisions I made regarding my profession. I worked in the field of tourism as a salesman. I have done my internship in Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a translator. Currently, I am working as a full time certified translator and I also work in freelance translation projects. I am trying to improve myself in translating legal, trade and medical documents.
