I was born in 1998 in İzmir. I am studying Translation and Interpreting at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. I am also doing a minor in psychology. In my education, I'm exposed to many different proffessions that will increase my translation competence and cultural understanding. I am able to use Cat tools. As a passionate linguist, I made my debut in the translation and localization world in 2014, when I was only a freshman in the university. I started as an intern and ended up to be freelance translator at SDL Turkey for 2 years. Following that, I worked for a transcription company and made transcriptions of voice records both in English and Turkish. Hi, I am Mücahid, mostly called Muco for short :). I am a freelance translator with 2 years of experience. I have been speaking English for 17 years and French for 6 years. I am a huge books and movies nerd, and I am not just saying that, I love Star Wars Saga, Pulp Fiction (actually, nearly all movies made by Tarantino), Godfather, City of Women and a lot more...
