I graduated from Translation and Interpreting Studies Department in the year of 2012. As an undergraduate student at Boğaziçi University, I have improved my English speaking skills through the courses. Moreover, I cannot deny the great contribution of my visiting the USA and working there for three months. During my education I worked at different places, such as publishing houses, translation offices so as to gain experiences. Apart from translating legal and business documents for various local and international translation companies as a freelance translator, I have also edited a number of books, stories, poems and other creative texts. I also completed my M.A. in Comperative Literature at Istanbul Bilgi University, which contributed my academic and linguistic skills. Following that, I started my Phd at Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at Yıldız Technical University in 2017.

After working in different industries for over 10 years, I've started working as a freelance translator seven years ago. I'm currently a sworn translator with extensive experience in the translation of business/finance, legal, and academic documents including business procedures/processes/reports, agreements, research papers, website content, instruction manuals etc. in areas such as banking, oil/energy, construction/architecture, IT, etc.. My past work experience gives me a great advantage in clearly understanding the content and context of a material and then translating/interpreting it accurately and effectively, but I also always try to improve my skills further and keep myself up to date with the latest developments in my industry. To refer to my educational background, I completed my BSc and MSc studies in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Sakarya University, Turkey, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. I graduated from one of the most prominent language and literature departments of Turkey after which I started working as a professional translator and conference interpreter without any interruption till now.
