I’m a native Spanish speaker translator with fluency in German, Italian and English. I like to help my clients to overcome any language barrier they may find. I’ve been working since 2014 as a freelance translator and studied a Major in German, Italian and English Translation. I’m very familiarized with CAT Tools. As an immigrant in the USA I have experienced first hand the challenges of language barriers, and my passion for languages and desire to help my community motivated me to learn more about language services. I have worked with educational, religious entities and businesses to address the disconnection between them and their Spanish speaking audience. I have a Bachelors degree in Spanish from Utah Valley University and I have been involved in translation and interpretation for the last 14 years. I have experience translating legal documents, religious articles and higher education content that has been used internationally. Now, as an entrepreneur of a translation and localization business, I know I have the cultural and linguistic knowledge to help you and your business to not be lost in translation.

I'm a dedicated professional with over 10 years of experience in foreign language teaching (English, French, Italian and Spanish) as well as translation, editing and proofreading. I also train teachers-to-be in writing, discourse analysis, academic writing and phonology. I'm detail-oriented and passionate about reading and writing.

After having spent over 10 years living abroad (Belgium, Canada, and New Zealand) while working and training to become a professional linguist, I moved back home (Barcelona, Spain), where I settled. About me Growing up bilingual When I was 10-years-old, my family moved from Spain to Colorado, USA. I attended middle school there and all of my friends were American. After just 9 months no one could believe I was not born American. Learning a language this way is the most effective and efficient way to learn it. As a child, you just simply take everything in and while learning a new language, you are also learning a new culture and way of thinking. At age 13 I moved back to Spain. I was then able to cement my Spanish cultural roots. Then, when I was 15-years-old, we moved again, this time to Portugal. Here I was able to learn Portuguese at still an early age. After obtaining two University Degrees, in Law and Business Administration, and an MBA in International Business Management, I worked for several years as a lawyer, external auditor in PwC, financial controller and cost manager in several countries around the world. Throughout this time, I also worked as a freelance translator and reviser for a Law Firm for over 8 years. It then became clear to me that I was meant to be a translator and now I work as a full-time translator and reviser.
