I have been head of the career of Communication Sciences at the Institute of Sciences and Higher Studies of Tamaulipas. I have taught literature, short film, and film appreciation workshops; some of them were taught in Spanish some other in English. Also, I am a published author with over 15 years of experience writing short stories. I am a native speaker of both languages. I was born in the UK to Mexican parents, which means I have a full mastery of both languages. My work has revolved around translating financial reports for different companies all around the globe. With a Master's Degree in the Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, VT, I consider myself to be a grammar expert, in addition to being fluent in the language. I had study abroad experiences in Mexico prior to living in Madrid during graduate school. In 2010 I spent the Winter-Spring semester traveling throughout Argentina and homeschooling my then 3rd grade son and 7th grade daughter.
