Hi! I've been working as a translator since 2007, first as a hobby, then as a normal job, and now I'm finally studying to oficially achieve a degree!! Majorly, I work in the Technical field, due to previous experience with electric tools and motors (translating manuals and technical information bulletins), but I also have experience in Finances/Accounting (translating Financial Statements, Annual Reports and Financial Reports) and Chemistry (namely, translating MSDS sheets)

I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. I have spent the last 20+ years living in Mexico working as an interpreter and translator for American companies such as Jockey Intl. and Skyline Builders and then I worked with the Real Estate and Tourism Industry at the Riviera Maya for more than 5 years, where I wrote and translated web content, newsletters, rental and sales agreements, contracts and “fideicomisos”. For the last three years I have been translating books, scripts, stories and novels for renowned American, British and Canadian authors. I have a degree in Translation (English to Spanish and Spanish to English) and Editing in Spanish (Corrección de Textos) I also have a degree in Biochemistry.

I am a professional translator since 2012. I grew up in France in a Spanish family, so I learned very early both languages. I studied law in France and Spain so I can translate to both languages. I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) I translate websites, contracts, business presentations, products descriptions, medical records etc ....

I am a former professor with extensive experience translating, as a native Spanish speaker I translate from English into Spanish and from Spanish into English.
