Although originally from Morocco, I grew up in Spain, but I have also experienced other cultures and backgrounds by living in France, Canada and Mexico. These experiences in my life helped me to learn and adapt to different environments and cultures and allowed me to build myself and grow with an international mindset. About my experience as a translator, I have worked on a variety of documents such as reports, letters, brochures, dossiers, web content, news, forms, architecture contracts, e-commerce, marketing, etc. Also, I participated in quality control & post-edition projects.

As a Philosophy student I focused in the field of Linguistics, which during college I combined with my passion for learning foreign languages: French and Russian, as well as perfecting my English. My interest in language and logic has led me to specialize also in modern fields such as software development translations, gaming localization, AI input/output editing, etc. After college I started learning Arabic language, also combined with my job as an editorial coordinator for institutionalized magazines belonging to professionals' associations of engineers and industrial chambers.

Spaniard currently based in Dubai with a sworn translation and interpreting background. Passionate about languages, social interaction and creativity.

My name is Aurora Martín, I am an Industrial Design Engineer by trade, Spanish native speaker but also trained in several languages (German and English), which are my actual passion. I have been working as a part-time translation freelancer for 9 years now. I have worked translating different kinds of documentation and texts, specially from technical topics due to my background. I am a Certified English-Spanish Translator with over 10 years of experience working freelance in Legal, Business and Technical translations. My experience includes international organizations, having been a UN intern. As a Sworn Translator, I work on legal translations, including serving as an assistant legal expert for Argentine Courts. In more recent years and following my clients’ requirements, my career has turned to specializing in IT, software and technology.
