I have been translating for over 30 years. I am also a published writer.

60 years of age, born 14/03/1961 My main foreign languages are English and Spanish CAT tools: OmegaT, Memsource, SmartCAT Translation experience: 1990 - 1992: Interpreting and translating during an American-Russian project for the delivery and implementation of cellular network. 1992 - 2008: Work for international companies with working English language (see below) where I translated business and technical documents and interpreted at business and working meetings. 2020: I began to work as a full-time freelance translator: English, Spanish. Other languages I translate from using a dictionary: Arabic, Polish.

I am a Journalist with a strong determination and attention to detail in terms of writing and translating from English to Spanish and vice versa. I enjoy translation jobs as I like to find the best and more accurate expressions and words to precisely explain what is written in another language. Studying Spanish and English since I was a child and living and working in both cultures made me polish both languages until I could use them indistinctly in a professional manner. Since I have been translating and editing texts since 2017, I have the confidence to undertake large technical, scientific and informal projects and deliver them within the arranged deadline. I am a committed professional, and therefore, I am open to reviewing my work if needed as many times as required by the client.

I translate from English and French into Spanish (Spain variety) and I proofread Spanish texts. I have a B.A. Degree in English Studies and a B.A. Degree in Translation and Interpreting and I have worked as a translator, project manager and interpreter in the last years. I have experience in several fields, such as telecommunications, trade or tourism. However, I specially work with medical and pharmaceutical translations (safety data sheets, patient leaflets, clinical trials, internal reports of the pharmaceutical industry…) and every text related to India (culture, history, literature…) and yoga.
