Graduated in Human Resources Management, the major contribution of my career to my current profession was the elaboration of reports and research projects. Since 2010 I worked as a research methodology consultant. In 2015 I started working as a web copywriter and editor of texts in Spanish, using this knowledge to increase my level of English and to improve the results achieved in my works translated from English to Spanish. I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. Since I was on college I had a strong passion for linguistics and the proccess of how language is acquired. Perfectioning my english and forming reading circles were some of the activities I put my effort on, aswell focusing my studies on a language-based therapy. My interest in language has led me to translation, in which I have worked these years having completed translations in areas as diverse as cooking, industry, sports betting, medicine, documentation, among others.

I am an English-into-Spanish translator based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a four-year university degree in Translation Studies and a postgraduate course in Copyediting of Spanish Texts. I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. I have spent the last 20+ years living in Mexico working as an interpreter and translator for American companies such as Jockey Intl. and Skyline Builders and then I worked with the Real Estate and Tourism Industry at the Riviera Maya for more than 5 years, where I wrote and translated web content, newsletters, rental and sales agreements, contracts and “fideicomisos”. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Certified Legal Translation, from the University of the Republic (Uruguay). I graduated in 2013. I have been working as a translator since 2011, both in-house and (mostly) freelance.
