I translate English into Spanish or Catalan. I can translate all kind of topics, but I have a lot of experience in financial, trading and marketing translations.

I am a professional with more than 30 years of experience in English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations. I am capable of delivering excellent quality at an affordable rate. I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. I have spent the last 20+ years living in Mexico working as an interpreter and translator for American companies such as Jockey Intl. and Skyline Builders and then I worked with the Real Estate and Tourism Industry at the Riviera Maya for more than 5 years, where I wrote and translated web content, newsletters, rental and sales agreements, contracts and “fideicomisos”. For the last three years I have been translating books, scripts, stories and novels for renowned American, British and Canadian authors. I have a degree in Translation (English to Spanish and Spanish to English) and Editing in Spanish (Corrección de Textos) I also have a degree in Biochemistry.

I started my career as professional translator in 1995, when I joined the foreign department of a pharmaceutical company. At that time, I enjoyed an international environment, giving me the possibility to work extensively in different kind of documents, including technical translations, legal and financial. Afterwards in 2005, 9 years later, I started my career as independent translator. With over 28 years of professional experience, I comply with the ISO 17100 International Standards for high quality translations. Professional translator

Professional translator with 10 years of experience. I'm specialised in marketing, financial and technical translation. My working languages are English and French into Spanish (native). I also offer transcreation and copywriting services. My main qualifications are: MA in Translation and Interpreting, BA in Conference Interpreting and a copywriting, marketing translation and transcreation course by Trágora Formación. I have worked as an internal translator for Michelin España, translating technical SOPs and manuals; as well as for other manufacturing industries. As a freelancer, most of the translations I perform on a daily basis are technical and marketing related.
