I have a Degree in Translation and Interpreting (EN/DE>ES), and a Master's Degree in Translation and New Technologies: Translation of Software and Multimedia Products. I also have a Spanish Professional Proofreading Course. I have worked for several translation companies translating, editing, proofreading, localizing texts about marketing, website, software, business management and leadership, tourism, education, food, automotive, technology, jewellery, fashion, innovation, medical tests, art and culture, legal and social media, among others.

I am a professional with more than 30 years of experience in English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations. I am capable of delivering excellent quality at an affordable rate. I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. I have spent the last 20+ years living in Mexico working as an interpreter and translator for American companies such as Jockey Intl. and Skyline Builders and then I worked with the Real Estate and Tourism Industry at the Riviera Maya for more than 5 years, where I wrote and translated web content, newsletters, rental and sales agreements, contracts and “fideicomisos”. For the last three years I have been translating books, scripts, stories and novels for renowned American, British and Canadian authors. I have a degree in Translation (English to Spanish and Spanish to English) and Editing in Spanish (Corrección de Textos) I also have a degree in Biochemistry.
