I am a Sworn English-Spanish-English Translator and Interpreter, certified by the National University of Colombia. After graduating from a double B.A. in Philosophy and History, more than six years ago, I have worked permanently as an English-Spanish translator and interpreter in a wide range of areas: financial, legal, literary and medical. I make my best to provide my clients with accurate and timely translations, and to communicate with them as necessary in order to provide them with the results they are looking for.

Since I was on college I had a strong passion for linguistics and the proccess of how language is acquired. Perfectioning my english and forming reading circles were some of the activities I put my effort on, aswell focusing my studies on a language-based therapy. My interest in language has led me to translation, in which I have worked these years having completed translations in areas as diverse as cooking, industry, sports betting, medicine, documentation, among others.

As an immigrant in the USA I have experienced first hand the challenges of language barriers, and my passion for languages and desire to help my community motivated me to learn more about language services. I have a Bachelors degree in Spanish from Utah Valley University and I have been involved in translation and interpretation for the last 14 years. Lawyer with 9 years of experience in corporate law, capital markets law, general business law and finance. Founder and current managing director of Indigo Translations Mexico City where we focus on providing technical document translation services to companies, financial institutions and law firms in Mexico and abroad. Prior to founding Indigo Translations, for approximately 8 years I worked as an associate of the M&A and Capital Markets practice of Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C., a law firm based in Mexico City, where I had the opportunity to participate in the negotiation and advice on some of the most representative mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs and liquidations occurred in the Mexican market during the last years, representing national and international companies, private equity funds and venture capital funds as well as in the drafting of transactional documentation for sundry industries.
