I am an English-into-Spanish translator based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a four-year university degree in Translation Studies and a postgraduate course in Copyediting of Spanish Texts. I am also licensed by the Association of Sworn Translators of the City of Buenos Aires (CTPCBA). For nearly eight years I have been working as a freelance translator providing EN>ES translation, localization, proofreading and editing services to individual clients, companies, and translation agencies all around the world. I am specialized in Healthcare and Medicine, Medical Instruments, Business, Marketing, but also worked in other fields. I am a senior lawyer-linguist with 15 years of legal practice, a part-time professor with several years of experience teaching Spanish Philology at the Katowice University and an Economics graduate from the London School of Economics. Given that background, I specialize in legal, marketing and business-related texts. I translate and edit academic articles, newspaper articles, business documents, corporate policies and handbooks, contracts and other legal documents, books (fiction and nonfiction), catalogues, reports, brochures, flyers, websites, adverts and personal documents, and I have a particular interest in, and flair for, marketing copy.

Constantino Casasbuenas began his career as mechanical engineer, specialized in hydraulic energy. After working for several NGOs in Latin America, he has worked for OxfamNovib in Central America, with El Taller’s education programme in Tunis, director of Citizen Diplomacy and CEO of Nexus in Colombia. Since 1999 he worked with Oxfam GB, first as country director for Colombia and as policy adviser in the Economic Justice team based in Oxford until 2014. He has lead the Regional and National campaigns for the GROW team in Oxfam International, and in 2014 he was the Director of Intermon's national programme in Bolivia. He is currently based in Colombia as an independent consultant. Constantino is active in the field of agro-ecology with campesinos and indigenous peoples in Latin America and the Caribbean.

I’m a native Spanish speaker translator with fluency in German, Italian and English. I like to help my clients to overcome any language barrier they may find. I’ve been working since 2014 as a freelance translator and studied a Major in German, Italian and English Translation. I’m very familiarized with CAT Tools. At the same time, I have developed several audiovisual projects as feature films and corporative videos using Subtitle Edit and AegiSub. As a Philosophy student I focused in the field of Linguistics, which during college I combined with my passion for learning foreign languages: French and Russian, as well as perfecting my English. My interest in language and logic has led me to specialize also in modern fields such as software development translations, gaming localization, AI input/output editing, etc. After college I started learning Arabic language, also combined with my job as an editorial coordinator for institutionalized magazines belonging to professionals' associations of engineers and industrial chambers.
