I enjoy translation for many reasons. I have always had an interest in foreign languages and cultures, so it is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to work with them. I also find the process of researching a subject to ensure a solid translation to be particularly satisfying, as well as investigating the expressive possibilities of my target language, an aspect of the translation process that is often overlooked and yet an important element of the quality of the final product. The type of translation that most attracts my attention is literary, although I have extensive demonstrable experience in the field of technical translation (recent projects being for the nautical and stone industry). Since I was on college I had a strong passion for linguistics and the proccess of how language is acquired. Perfectioning my english and forming reading circles were some of the activities I put my effort on, aswell focusing my studies on a language-based therapy. My interest in language has led me to translation, in which I have worked these years having completed translations in areas as diverse as cooking, industry, sports betting, medicine, documentation, among others.
