Hi! I've been working as a translator since 2007, first as a hobby, then as a normal job, and now I'm finally studying to oficially achieve a degree!! No matter what you need, you can always talk to me and we can work something out, I love learning about new subjects to translate! Majorly, I work in the Technical field, due to previous experience with electric tools and motors (translating manuals and technical information bulletins), but I also have experience in Finances/Accounting (translating Financial Statements, Annual Reports and Financial Reports) and Chemistry (namely, translating MSDS sheets)

I am a Journalist with a strong determination and attention to detail in terms of writing and translating from English to Spanish and vice versa. I enjoy translation jobs as I like to find the best and more accurate expressions and words to precisely explain what is written in another language. Studying Spanish and English since I was a child and living and working in both cultures made me polish both languages until I could use them indistinctly in a professional manner. Since I have been translating and editing texts since 2017, I have the confidence to undertake large technical, scientific and informal projects and deliver them within the arranged deadline. I am a committed professional, and therefore, I am open to reviewing my work if needed as many times as required by the client.

I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. About me Growing up bilingual When I was 10-years-old, my family moved from Spain to Colorado, USA. I attended middle school there and all of my friends were American. After just 9 months no one could believe I was not born American. Learning a language this way is the most effective and efficient way to learn it. As a child, you just simply take everything in and while learning a new language, you are also learning a new culture and way of thinking. At age 13 I moved back to Spain. I was then able to cement my Spanish cultural roots. Then, when I was 15-years-old, we moved again, this time to Portugal. Here I was able to learn Portuguese at still an early age. After obtaining two University Degrees, in Law and Business Administration, and an MBA in International Business Management, I worked for several years as a lawyer, external auditor in PwC, financial controller and cost manager in several countries around the world. Throughout this time, I also worked as a freelance translator and reviser for a Law Firm for over 8 years. It then became clear to me that I was meant to be a translator and now I work as a full-time translator and reviser.
