My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.

I am bilingual (RUS-ENG) and have a great love for languages that has led me to learn 5 other languages. I have lived in France, the US, the UK and now Austria. Hello, I'm a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Civil Engineering at Aalto University, Finland. Within my 4-year research career, I, together with my colleagues, have successfully published several international-level scientific papers and presented our research achievements at sever conferences. As a part of my main tasks, I am also performing data and image analysis with R script and Python. The major of my Master's studies was Civil Engineering. Therefore, I also have working experience in the Structural Engineering Company. I am skilled in Autocad, Revit, and Tekla. The passion for art led me to the art school that I have successfully finished. Nowadays, I still proceed to draw and create jewelry at home.
