I work in Trados, SmartCat, Phrase, MemoQ, Wordfast, Xtm cloud, OmegaT, Passolo, Xbench, Aegisub and Subtitle Edit, and I can master any other tool as well. I had about 10 years of experience as a tech support specialist and a tester/QA, so I'm good at many of IT topics. After being trained as a translator at university, I spent several years preparing students for Cambridge examinations (such as IELTS, FCE and CAE). At the same time, I was frequently asked to translate medical and technical texts and received positive feedback, which made me consider taking more translations. I enjoy the process of translation as it demands both creativity and precision, and it is also a perfect opportunity to learn more about this world (I am particularly fascinated with biotechnology and medicine, which is why I prefer to work with research articles, clinical studies, etc).
