I am a freelancing editor/translator for some of the Russian translating firms. I am mostly interested in editing in pairs EN-RU, RU-EN, but will also consider translation assignments in pairs EN-RU, RU-EN.

I translate from English and German into Russian and Belarusian. Russian & Belarusian are my native languages, I am bilingual. When translating, I research to find appropriate translations of terms and common terminology. After the text is translated, I check the translation against the source so there are no mistakes and inconsistency in the text, and then I run spell-check. In case of large texts, I analyze the frequent terminology.
