I am a Romanian native speaker with many years of experience in translations. Over the years, I developed strong abilities in translation and proofreading in various fields. I am self-motivated, reliable, hard-working person who is able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines and have good communication skills.

I am Romanian and Italian and I have studied English and Spanish at the University oy Pisa and University of Bologna. I have also lived, studied and worked abroad in 2009-2010 in Valencia with the Erasmus Programme at the University of Valencia.

After working for several years for different translation companies, as secondary job, offering translations services from English into Romanian, as well as from Romanian into English, mainly technical documents, I decided to offer my services as a freelance translator in Smartcat, as well. Some of the major companies for which I translated different types of documents I can name Kraft Jacobs Suchard, GlaxoSmithKline, Dexion, Kärcher, among sporadic jobs for Romanian companies. You will not be able to find any samples of my work, other than the standard Smartcat sample document, since I have never asked acceptance from my customers to use parts of the translated documents for personal purposes. However, if you consider this a prerequisite for a future collaboration, I would be glad to offer you a free of charge translation of a page from a document of your choice. Romanian is my mother tongue and I am a Certified Translator with over 10 years experience and strong knowledge of terms, grammar and spelling. I have a degree in Law and International Relations and a strong passion for writing. I create and translate content on various subjects, especially in the fields of business, law, finance, tourism, lifestyle and fashion. I have experience working in advertising and with creative content. I also offer transcription (audio/ video) and proofreading services. I speak fluently English, Romanian and Spanish. I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. In this globalized world, when connections are very important in every field, whether we talk about business, travel, private life or medical issue, I feel that translators are that bridge that allow people to get where they need or where they want. The diversity of documents and fields that I have the opportunity to work with as a translator make me appreciate the challenges and enrich my knowledge. For the past 15 years, in the course of my work I have translated notary documents, court documents, legal documents, technical manuals and non-specialist documents to and from English, German and Romanian. I am a native Romanian speaker. Being born, raised and educated in Timisoara, Romania, I have a full knowledge about my mother tongue as well as the subtle language meanings of the text I translate. Through the jobs I have held, I have acquired knowledge and terminology in numerous fields. My production on a daily basis ranges from 2000 to 2500 words per day, depending on the difficulties presented by the text to be translated and my fees are available upon request.
