Thank you for taking a look at my profile. I’m an experienced translator for the pairs EN>PT-BR and ES>PT-BR, with many translation projects done. I'm a post-graduation professor and former IBM consultant, Brazilian, living in the metropolitan area of São Paulo. As a certified translator for the pair English into Brazilian Portuguese, I’m interested in new opportunities and starting long-term relationships. The fields I have done translation work include scientific articles, telecom, websites, ERP, legal, marketing, petroleum, engineering, technical manual, IT, software localization, HR, and other subjects. I hold four degrees in Business Administration, a BA, two Master's degrees, and a doctorate from The University of Liverpool.

I have been working as full-time translator in various English to Brazilian Portuguese freelance projects since February 2013. During this time, I translated over 1,000,000 words in hundreds of projects for various clients, as well as proofread/edited hundreds of translations. I graduated in Translation and Language Studies (Letras) in 2004 and also work as an English and Portuguese teacher at public schools since 2005. During this period I have been working as a freelance translator and proof-reader and, truly, that is my passion.

My native language is Portuguese. I was certified Portuguese interpreter and translator by the state of Texas in 2004 by the Dallas County Community College System.
