I am a Brazilian native translator working with the English-Portuguese pair for the past 5 years. Before that, I’ve worked in the IT industry for over 20 years in the software sector, having ample knowledge of software development, project management, and business processes. As a translator, I have worked with texts and videos on artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality as well as tutorials and articles on products from big players in the industry such as Microsoft, Google, Kaspersky, and others. In the medical field, I have translated protocols for clinical trials, questionnaires, and investigator’s brochures on new drugs. I am also a volunteer translator and reviewer at TED where I work with talks on multiple subjects.

I have been translating technical, business and private contents from English to Portuguese for more than 10 years. Throughout this time, I have translated and proofread documents such as, hospital equipment catalog, questionnaire, medical forms, surveys, restaurant menus, letters, product list, prenuptial agreement, nautical manual, children and adult apps, casino games, real state software among other documents. Besides my current position as a freelance Translator, I have some experience in Subtitling, considering rules of synchronization and how to use subtitling software.
