Hello. I have a few thing I'd like you to know about my work in translation: I've had some tasks translating from English to Portuguese and vice-versa, mainly casual translations. I'm fluent in English (Currently at C1 level) and speaking Portuguese as a mother tongue. I'm available to translate anything casual in topics such as History, Politics, Gaming, Arts, Geography and Technology. I'm not looking forward to earn money with this, I'm just here for the thrill!

I have worked as a translator, proofreader and editor in several specialized fields.I lived and worked in the USA for 10 years , therefore I am able to understand the intricacies of both languages and cultural contexts. I have extensive experience in translating, proofreading, subtitling and transcriptions . I am a full time translator, which allows me to accept high volume projects and deliver a quick turnaround.I have translated many texts and books for private and governmental institutions.

My experience as a translator ranges from technical documents to entertainment texts. I am a Law Bachelor and I have worked as a tax advisor, writing and proofreading documents in both English and Portuguese as daily jobs. I worked also on the Brazilian localization of EA’s FIFA 18 and Need for Speed Payback. My job was to ensure all texts and audio were properly translated for the Brazilian market, checking if these assets were correctly implemented in-game and that they fitted the game style and natural flow of the language. Such experience lit my desire of building bridges between different cultures and breaking down the language barriers between them. In my case, Portuguese is spoken by more than 255 million people, of which 210 million are Brazilians alone. However, the majority of the lusophone population has no understanding of the English language, and English speakers too have generally no knowledge of Portuguese. This is an obstacle I want to help undo.

I have experience with entertainment texts, such as articles, news, subtitles and other audiovisual related subjects, and also with applications in general, having worked on translations for Lingokids, Fishbrain, Hooked, Ronaldo: Soccer Clash, Legacy of the Beast, edjing Mix and others. I was raised Trilingual in Haiti speaking French, Haitian Creole and English (Level C2). Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese (Level C1) for I have been living and studying in Brazil since 2017. I speak Intermediate Spanish (Level B2). Part time freelance translator since 2016 and have done work related interpretation on a daily basis since 2014.
