I am a translation student who has been working with translation since 2018. I have translated all kinds of texts of texts, from poetry to academic essays and articles. Since I am at university exclusively studying translation, I have a vast theoretical background combined with translation practice since it is part of the course curriculum. I have been part of a scientific initiation project for undergraduates and received an honorable mention for it.

9 years of experience with translation, proofreading, and editing from English into Brazilian and European Portuguese. I started at Demand Media Studios and WikiHow back in 2013 translating do-it-yourself and general knowledge articles. Then, I moved to Upwork and Elance to try and build partnerships with some direct clients. 534 tracked hours on Upwork and 390 contracts since 2014. 549,371 words translated on Gengo, with more than 1,287 tracked hours. 7,780 words on MotaWord since 2015. My native language is Portuguese. I was certified Portuguese interpreter and translator by the state of Texas in 2004 by the Dallas County Community College System.
