I'm a young Italian freelance translator with experience in technical translation. I am a professionally-qualified EN-IT, PT-IT and RU-IT translator that has had excellent feedback. I hold a BA in Intercultural and linguistic mediation from Bologna University and have experience in translating texts in a variety of specialized domains, including technical, IT, commercial and medical and I also have experience with MTPE. My previous freelance translator experience makes me punctual and productivity oriented, and I can work with short deadlines as well.

I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. My experience as PM gave me a deep insight into all aspects related to the translation process, thus I perfectly know and understand the needs and expectations of Project Managers whom I work with. I am able to work under pressure, and manage large volumes of work with no prejudice to quality. As an English to Italian ProZ.com Certified PRO Network gaming, technical, and marketing translator (EN 15038) and Italian native speaker, I have been translating on a volunteer basis since 2012 (working on big projects since 2016) and professionally since 2020. I have experience in handling localization processes as a whole for text-heavy video games, as a translator (transcreation, proofreading, photo editing), LQE specialist, LQA tester, and localization project manager (file preparation, regex tagging, developer relations). 2,500,000 words translated, with a daily output of 4,500 words.
