I'm an Italian TRANSLATOR, PROOFREADER, author and teacher with a degree in English Language and Literature. I translate from ENGLISH and FRENCH to ITALIAN, my native language, I have worked in the publishing field as an author and coauthor, writing and editing books, dictionaries and readers for students of English (for more than 12 years), and created crosswords and puzzles in English for a magazine published monthly (for about five years). The subjects I'm more interested in are: tourism and monuments, history, geography, literature, gardening and plants, food and drinks, art, environment, animals, hobbies, celebrations, traditions, folklore, society, religion, children's books, stories, proverbs, poems, songs, music.

My name is Fanni, and I am currently studying International Business Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest. My native language is Hungarian, but besides that I speak English at an advanced level and I have an intermediate level Business Italian language certificate, moreover, I am preparing for an advanced level Business Italian language exam at the moment. After graduating in Specialized Translation from Italy's Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, I spent several years working as a translator, interpreter, editor and language consultant for an NGO sponsoring medical and environmental research. I am now working as a freelance translator, editor, proofreader and language consultant. My clients include not-for-profit organizations, publishing houses and LSPs. I am a freelance translator, Italian mother tongue. I hold a Master's Degree in Technical Translation and another one in Ecnomics. . I have got a good deal of experience translating technical/marketing texts and software, but also motorsports, cycling and tourism (from English, Spanish, and French into Italian). My average output is about 2200/2500 words/day (up to 3000, if needed, for rush jobs.)
