I'm a linguistics-enthusiast italian guy who completed his bachelor degree in translation at the University of Genoa, Italy. The languages I have studied are English and Russian, but I can also speak a little Spanish and a little Polish. I truly love experiencing and analyzing foreign cultures, reason why I have spent a considerable amount of time abroad considering my young age: I have lived in Russia for 1 month, in Poland for 5 months and in Australia for 15 months.

I have got a good deal of experience translating technical/marketing texts and software, but also motorsports, cycling and tourism (from English, Spanish, and French into Italian). I believe in quality: this is why I always deliver thoroughly and double-checked translations, paying deep attention to style and terminology. Also, I translate only into my mother tongue (Italian), in order to ensure the best quality.

I'm Ph.D. in Political Studies (Università di Roma La Sapienza), member of the editorial board of the Nuova Rivista Storica and of the SOG 18 (Society for 18th Century Studies on South Eastern Europe), University of Graz. I studied perfectly Latin at High School and sustained at the university several exams of English, German and French Language and Culture practicing my translation skills while writing my Master Thesis with proficiency. I pursued further skills working with contracts, patents, diplomatic documents and treaties which unfortunately I cannot show for reasons of confidenciality. Finally I improved my knowledge of Serbian during my stay in Belgrade for my Ph.D. researche. My method of work is based on a deep respect of the original text, in consideration of the risk bringed by a too literal translation.
