After graduating in Specialized Translation from Italy's Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, I spent several years working as a translator, interpreter, editor and language consultant for an NGO sponsoring medical and environmental research. I'm a freelance translator working with English, Japanese, French, and Italian. So far, I've mainly dealt with the translation of website contents, medicine-related documents, technical material, and so forth. I deem accuracy, professionalism, and affability to be just three of the keys to attaining the best results in my area of expertise; also, those three words are only three of the many keywords that could describe my way of working.

I am an Italian national, and a PhD graduate from the University of Edinburgh in the UK. I work day-to-day with technology and I have been in the translation business since 2010. I'm a reliable and professional person, as my referees can testify (available upon request).

I'm a linguistics-enthusiast italian guy who completed his bachelor degree in translation at the University of Genoa, Italy. The languages I have studied are English and Russian, but I can also speak a little Spanish and a little Polish. I truly love experiencing and analyzing foreign cultures, reason why I have spent a considerable amount of time abroad considering my young age: I have lived in Russia for 1 month, in Poland for 5 months and in Australia for 15 months.

Over 15 years of experience in the field, having worked in Italy as a translator and proofreader and recently in Denmark as an in-house translator and editor.

I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. My experience as PM gave me a deep insight into all aspects related to the translation process, thus I perfectly know and understand the needs and expectations of Project Managers whom I work with. I am able to work under pressure, and manage large volumes of work with no prejudice to quality. I am able to translate very technical texts, like instruction manuals for X-ray inspection systems, but also to use my creative side to produce translations of content marketing articles.

I finished University in 1999 and since then I have always worked in the translation field. I have good work relationships with some major global translation companies and I am used to working with a variety of offline and online CAT tools. I am always available for short translation tests to give potential clients the opportunity to try my services.
