I started as a freelance translator in 2017, started by translating Japanese novels, songs, works, etc. Mostly focusing on novels, songs, and articles in EN-JP/ID.

I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.

I am M Amir Syarifuddin, I am currently working as a professionally qualified freelance English><Indonesian interpreter and translator with 6 years experience. I have recently joined with UNHCR, Malaysia and funkycorp.com, a Japanese boutique agency by translating the company’s website and company profile. At the end of 2017, I have been hired by Asian Absolute, a UK translation company based in Singapore by translating annual report of Indonesian company and some other translation projects. I am also currently running my business on cryptocurrency with my teams as a community manager which based in Netherlands. I am determined, enthusiastic, and hard working as part of the team or individual. I am also a dedicated, punctual, and reliable person who is able to work in a busy environment and generate a high standard of works in multi tasks. I used to work under pressure and adhered company’s rules and strict deadlines as part of the professional worker’s code of ethics.

I have a Master of Science degree in Molecular Mechanism of Disease (Molecular Biology) from Radboud University Netherland, Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, and a diploma in pharmacist profession (apothecary program). Regarding credentials, I am a full member of Association of Indonesian Translators. And currently, I am studying to get my ASc degree in Computer Science. From 2010 to 2015, I worked for a university textbook publisher, EGC Medical Publisher, in Indonesia. I have followed a formal training for editors. I was involved in the translation, editing, and proofreading of university textbooks in the fields of pharmaceutical, medical, biology, etc.
