I'm a versatile translator who can translate websites, articles, blog posts, e-books on just about any topics. I have done so for years for a number of distinctive clients about a plethora of different topics. I'm a French Canadian from the Gaspe Peninsula and grew up speaking both French and English. Therefore, I consider them both as my native languages. Going from one language into the other has literally become second nature to me. But ultimately, my career led me to focus on English. I left France at the age of 30, stayed for 2 years in the USA, and have now been living in Canada since 2015. My background is scientific: I have several degrees in the biomedical and life sciences fields, including a Ph.D. in Biotechnology. I have over 10 years of experience in healthcare and research. During that time, I also offered translation services in my field as a secondary part-time activity. As of 2020, I am now a full-time translator English-to-French and French-to-English. My main interests remain in the medical/health sciences field, but I am also interested in a variety of other subjects that are not necessarily science related.
