My name Ulrich DOUO, I am a qualified translator with a university degree in English, my native language is French (I am from Côte d'Ivoire but living in Ghana - Africa) and I have been working as a freelance translator for the past 10 years. Having specialized in the areas of legal, economic and technical texts, I have gathered substantial experience in these fields. I am a Lomonosov Moscow State University graduate in English, French, German and Spanish languages. During the course of my studies at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Area Studies I acquired a solid base in linguistics. Now I am studying at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University to get a second bachelor's degree in Biomedical appliances, which makes medicine and medical devices the area of special interest for me. I have extensive experience in technical (user manuals, technical guides, specification sheets, patents, software documentation, etc.), medical (clinical studies, articles, medical equipment manuals, clinical research, etc.) and legal (contracts, certificates, apostilles) translation as well as in marketing and website localization.

In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably.
