Hello everyone, my name is Lea. I am a Korean-born German citizen, with a passion for learning languages. Having lived in multiple countries (Korea, France, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg), I am fluent in French, English and Korean (my mother tongue), and have an intermediate level of German. I completed a bilingual International Baccalaureate diploma in 2017, and have been studying in Geneva, the French-speaking region of Switzerland. I'm a 29 years old French girl who first worked in Education, then decided to change and study Tourism. After 2 years as a Tour Guide in Portugal, working daily in English, French and basic Portuguese, I'm back in France. Currently working full time as a tour guide in a famous Champagne house, using English and French on a daily bases. I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.

I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love.
