I am a young (every year a bit less) and dynamic French translator. I studied Audiovisual and Multimedia Translation and ever since I graduated, I have been working in the video game industry as Junior Localization, Video game tester and Marketing approver. I can also provide subtitles for video files or movies.

I'm a qualified translator, I worked for many translation agencies and also for other clients since 2006, I have done more than 3000 projects, in fact, I have heard a lot about Smartcat and I really want to take part of your familly.

I used to work as researcher in biology. I did my PhD in Paris, followed by a three year postdoc in Germany. Since June 2017, I'm trying to switch career to a language related one. My 6 years experience in an academic setting provided me with expertise not only in theoretical and experimental biology, programming and office software, but also in writing and proofreading scientific articles in both English and French.

I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.

I have worked on various projects since I graduated (from small to big documents) and with two main language pairs (Chinese to French, English to French), but sometimes accepted a project in Chinese to English. I have experience with a lot of domains (mainly fiction, economics, politics, history, marketing and business). I enjoy discovering new challenges.

I agree to work for a lower rate when I work for NGOs for example. I always consider the rate to be an open dialogue between me and my partners.
