During the past six years, I have gathered extensive experience in translation from English, German, Portuguese, and Spanish into French. I worked with a wide range of topics and media such as press articles, videos, or technical reports about international trade, environmental sciences, energy, economics, politics, and arts. I also have experience with editing and proofreading.

I am French and Swiss German, grew up and did a Law Phd in France and in French: French being considered as my mother tongue, even though I grew up in German, but anyhow… My Dad has had the opportunity to spend a few years in the States (Westchester County, NY) and we of course followed him. We visited the American school system (7th grade on my side) and learned English there. Wonderful experience! I am a meticulous and dedicated French< >English and Swahili< >English translator with a Masters degree in Translation from the University of Nairobi. I have worked with translation agencies, local and international companies, NGOs, the UN and government agencies where I consistently delivered timely and accurate translations. In the 5 years where I have been in business, both as an in-house and a freelance translator, I have gained extensive experience in different fields such as commercial, legal, financial, technical and general translation. I am an advanced user of SDL Trados studio CAT tool, with proficient knowledge of Microsoft word, MemoQ, Across, Wordfast, among others.

I'm a professional French native translator/proofreader for more than 5 years and I do have a great multitasking experience from different projects that I handled in the past years from a freelancer to a local professional. I do manage fluently English and Spanish and I can handle projects from any of these language combinations.

Born in Paris to a bi-lingual family, I grew up speaking English, French and Hausa natively. I spent most of my childhood in Saudi Arabia where I got to learn Arabic. I always consider the rate to be an open dialogue between me and my partners.
