Aleks Ignjatovic

Aleks Ignjatovic is the Globalization Enablement Lead at Shopify, the leading global commerce company providing trusted tools to start, grow, market, and manage a retail business of any size, founded in Ottawa, Canada, and present in 175+ countries. With a background in translation and languages, Aleks joined Shopify as a Content & Localization Manager dedicated to growing the company's presence in French-speaking markets in 2017. Since then, her role has expanded to include partnering with all areas of the business to provide strategic and technical guidance on globalization, internationalization, and localization, while cultivating a global-ready approach to product and content creation company-wide. Originally from Paris, France, she is currently based in Toronto, Canada, after spending over a decade living and working abroad in Europe, Asia, and North America.
